Tackling climate change, biodiversity loss and global inequities requires rapid, coordinated transformations across the interconnected systems that shape our world — from the ways we power economies, transport goods and design our cities to how we produce food, govern societies and protect nature.

Tracking progress across these systems is essential to driving meaningful action. On February 18, Systems Change Lab hosted an interactive training and deep dive into our open-source data platform.

This session began with a brief introduction to systems change and key insights from our latest research report, the State of Climate Action 2025. We then demonstrated how to navigate the data platform, showing how to explore interactive visualizations, use the dashboard to identify specific indicators, and filter and download global and country-level data for deeper analysis. We also highlighted recent platform updates and improvements, including our entirely reimagined system pages.
