The transition is happening faster than we think for solar, wind and electric vehicles. Understanding the policy levers and enablers behind these success stories can deliver a more targeted and effective Global Stocktake response. Join us for a discussion on the critical action needed over the next two years to mobilize the combined demand for new products from businesses, cities and governments to further unlock exponential systems transitions. Panelists will discuss evidence for hope through examples of exponential change, focusing on global and regional progress for electric vehicles and renewable energy deployment. Looking at case studies of these examples will highlight policy solutions that can be instrumental in accelerating toward key tipping points. Despite these signals of progress, we are off track in achieving exponential change in other sectors. Panelists will also discuss what is needed in the next two years to unlock this change and address the climate crisis.
